Perchtenlauf in Mondsee

The Perchtenlauf in Mondsee is part of the Advent market and features: Around 150 Perchten from the MondSeeLand and surrounding area in mostly hand-carved Perchten masks 🎭.

The procession offers spectacular performances and loud sounds – so you get an insight into the traditional Rauhnächte rituals, which can be particularly impressive for older children.

A clear child-friendly moment: Nikolaus appears with angels and hands out sweets to the little ones 🍬.
