Picture Book Cinema
Description
Picture Book Cinema
What is it exactly?
Picture Book Cinema has developed as a special form of reading aloud and storytelling. While the story from the book is read or told, the pictures are projected in a large format onto a screen using an iPad and projector.
The picture book holds a special significance for child development. The stories and images in books help children cope with everyday experiences and open up a fascinating world of new experiences. The event format of Picture Book Cinema introduces children to books in an exciting and playful way. The aim is to broadly motivate reading; imagination should be stimulated and language expression skills promoted.
