Description

The tour takes you through beech forests with majestic giant trees and historic charcoal-burning sites. You will get a first impression of the emerging wilderness in Nationalpark Eifel. From the Hirschley viewpoint, you have a fantastic view over the Rursee and the forests reaching down to the shore. The approximately three-hour hike (about 5 kilometers) follows flat and firm paths through the barrier-free natural adventure area Wilder Kermeter. It is therefore suitable for people with and without disabilities as well as for strollers.

Hard of hearing guests can borrow a mobile hearing amplifier if they register in advance. Otherwise, no registration is required for the free tours. We ask larger groups of 10 or more people to announce themselves in advance at 02444/9510-0.

Detailed information about accessibility is available at www.nationalpark-eifel.de/barrierefrei or from the

Nationalparkverwaltung.

The ranger tour takes place every 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month.
