Rohrbacher Christmas Market

On Saturday, the Christmas market opens at 11:00 AM with a festive start: The Regenbogen daycare, the Rohrbach music club, the Männerchor 1860 Rohrbach, and the Becker Choir come together to create a warm welcome.

While the focus on the hall forecourt is on visitors’ culinary enjoyment, with around 25 stalls offering tasty and hearty fare, the hall itself hosts over 40 stalls. These feature everything from hand-knitted socks, Christmas wreaths and arrangements, tablecloths, table decorations, dishes, dolls, jewelry, high-proof schnapps and lighter liqueurs to fretwork and crafts, making the Rohrbacher Christmas Market so appealing.

At 12:00 PM, the elementary students from Pestalozzi School take over, filling the area with Christmas songs. The musical entertainment continues in the afternoon: at 3:00 PM the Accordion Friends of Rohrbach perform, followed by the student choir from the Rohrbach community school at 4:00 PM. A special highlight awaits at 5:00 PM when Santa Claus surprises the little visitors.

On Sunday, guests can look forward to another lovingly arranged program. At 4:00 PM, the children’s group of the Kneipp Association presents a cheerful performance before Santa Claus visits again at 5:00 PM.

Around 6:30 PM the exciting raffle prize drawing takes place. After that, from 7:00 PM, the Rohrbach music club provides a melodious conclusion to the evening.

Finally, the Christmas market closes at 8:00 PM – traditionally accompanied by a sea of sparklers that lights up the area with warm, sparkling glow.
