Description

The Medieval Christmas Market organized by the Kulturverein Dirmingen e.V. and local clubs invites visitors to dive into an atmosphere full of magic, music, and lights.

On Saturdays, visitors can enjoy the medieval Christmas festivities starting at 3:30 PM. The official market opening takes place at 5:00 PM on the main stage.

On both market days, jugglers and minstrels will provide a medieval spectacle. The number of vendor stalls has increased in recent years.

Another highlight is the live nativity scene, which especially fascinates children every year. The participating clubs and organizations from Dirmingen and the surrounding area have once again spared no effort to wrap their sales booths in a festive medieval flair. Visitors can look forward to a varied and entertaining program on both festival days.

Of course, this year as well, Saint Nicholas will pay a visit to the children. Beforehand, the Protestant trombone choir of Dirmingen will perform its traditional open-air concert.

The Dirmingen Christmas Market has become particularly popular in recent years. People now come from all over Saarland and the greater region to this charming Christmas market. What used to be a small Advent market has grown into a real highlight. Visitors will find a cozy and harmonious atmosphere.
