Royal Winter Magic

With enchanting illuminations, elaborate decorations, and a festive program, Hohenzollern Castle invites you to the Royal Winter Magic from November 20, 2026, to January 10, 2027.

The Royal Winter Magic is not a Christmas market but a specially designed exhibition. Instead of market stalls and crowds, it offers a Christmas atmosphere in a historic setting. In the Count's Hall, visitors will find a twelve-meter-long table with imperial service, flanked by a seven-meter-high Christmas tree. The other chambers, open for visitors to explore freely, will also be magically decorated. At dusk, the illuminations on the facades in the castle courtyard begin. The court jester releases soap bubbles into the night sky. Santa Claus also stops by from time to time. The castle restaurant offers winter specialties, and in the castle garden, small groups can be served in the themed huts. Additionally, coffee and cake are available on a donation basis at Café Kira on the third floor.

Tickets

Admission tickets for the Winter Magic are available in limited numbers per day at the online ticket portal on www.burg-hohenzollern.com. Tickets include parking fees and the shuttle bus service that runs between the parking lot and the castle entrance gate.

Tickets at the box office are only available if still available. It is recommended to arrive with an online ticket only.
