Amber is often found on the beaches of the North and Baltic Seas. The Romans called amber the "Gold of the Sea" and highly valued it as jewelry and a healing stone.

In our age-appropriate workshop, you will first examine the special characteristics of the millions-of-years-old amber under expert guidance. Can amber, as fossilized resin, float? How can you tell if it is genuine amber? Various experiments are conducted for this, and you can also observe enclosed insects. The golden-colored amber also inspires creativity.

Carefully sanding and polishing, children can reveal the unique beauty and color variety of an amber piece under guidance.
