Watt 4 Kids – The Children's Mudflat Walk

The mudflat walk with National Park guide Matthias Schulz is specially designed for kids and little ones! The entire route is chosen to be child-friendly. We walk alongside the dike through the Wadden Sea to a stone groyne where we catch fish and crabs with a net, look at them closely, and then release them again. Shells can also be collected. Mom and Dad or Grandma and Grandpa are of course welcome to join. The program also includes a shell experiment and digging up a lugworm.

What to wear: shorts, and depending on the weather, a rain jacket or strong sun protection / head covering. Rubber boots can be worn and can also be rented for €4 per pair upon request.
