Description

Almost every day, the atmospheric stage in front of the west facade of the cathedral offers a changing program for the whole family, ranging from the historic puppet theater to star tenors and prominent figures of the regional music scene. That’s why you won’t just find Santa Claus and his helpers at the Domfreihof and the medieval main market, but also Germany’s only mulled wine queen, Saint Nicholas, the angels from the Christmas bakery, and thousands of guests from Germany and abroad.

All visitors have free access to the Trier Christmas Market.

The Christmas market is closed on Totensonntag (Sunday of the Dead).
