Usingen Christmas Market

The romantic hustle and bustle around the illuminated town hall and the castle square traditionally kick off the Christmas season in Usingen on the Friday and Saturday before the First Sunday of Advent (November 27 and 28, 2026).

The market stalls stretch from there through Pfarrgasse to the also illuminated Ev. Laurentius Church, and numerous vendors in Obergasse are also looking forward to your visit.

Even before the official opening on Friday evening, the Protestant and Catholic parishes will likely invite you again this year at 5:00 pm under the motto "We announce to you – Ecumenical start to Advent" together into the Ev. Laurentius Church, before a bell ringing will sound promptly to mark the market’s start at 6:00 pm.

Alongside the musical program, the city championship in ice stock sport, the special exhibition at the city museum, and the art exhibition at Nassauische Sparkasse will likely take place again.
