Weihnachtsmarkt im Linzer Volksgarten

The Weihnachtsmarkt im Linzer Volksgarten is an Advent market with a special park atmosphere near the main train station 🎄. It offers daily craft demonstrations, many hands-on stations for children and an adjacent wood-themed experience with interactive exhibits.

Many artisans invite you to join in: at the old hand-crank drill you can make your own piece, children discover a wooden xylophone and quiz stations test your knowledge.

In the old forge a waterwheel sets historical machines in motion every 15 minutes, and there is also probably the largest wooden nativity scene in Austria, which 'comes to life' every 30 minutes. 🔨 Family-friendly rides, fire shows and food stalls provide variety; the program runs daily.
