Alpakahöfle Nordstrand

Description
Alpakahof on Nordstrand – Relaxation between the Wadden Sea and woolen dreams
In the heart of the Wadden Sea National Park on the Nordstrand peninsula lies Nordfriesland's first Alpakahof. Alpacas have been raised here since 2009 – and since 2017 on Nordstrand. Today, twelve alpacas in various colors and unique personalities live on the farm. The sheared wool is carefully hand-spun and turned into high-quality products.
Alpaca walks – special encounters in nature
Regular walks with the alpacas take place Friday through Sunday (by appointment only). You can experience the gentle and calm nature of the animals up close.
Notes: Children under 14 may only lead an alpaca when accompanied by an adult. Dogs are not allowed on the walks. Sturdy footwear is recommended.
Picnic with the alpacas – a break in the pasture
A picnic in the foal meadow among the alpacas offers a unique atmosphere. At the end of May, the first foals of 2025 are expected here. Cost: 10,00 € per person (1 hour).
Farm shop – handmade natural fiber products
In the small farm shop (open by request), you'll find handcrafted products made from alpaca, satin angora, and sheep wool. The fibers come exclusively from the farm's animals and regional breeders in Nordfriesland. The wool is processed entirely by hand: from washing and sorting to spinning and then knitting or crocheting. Besides pure fibers, there are unique blends that create special patterns and textures. On request, hats, scarves, and other items can be made to customer specifications.
