Description

Hafen Strucklahnungshörn was inaugurated in 1960, and since then it has opened the gateway to Uthlande, leading out to the North Sea.

At the port of Nordstrand, you'll find not only fishing boats and the sea rescue cruiser. From here, you can also set off on excursion ships operated by Adler-Reederei to the Uthlande or travel by water from several neighboring islands to Nordstrand. Discover the Wadden Sea World Heritage Site with its fascinating nature on a boat trip departing from Nordstrand. Start your day trip to Pellworm, Amrum, Sylt, Helgoland, Föhr, or Hallig Hooge from here. A special experience is the tour to the seal banks.

Hafen Strucklahnungshörn is just a 25-minute drive from Husum. There’s also a regular bus (Line 140) running from Husum to the port.

At the harbor, you'll find paid short-term parking for loading and unloading (note: during storm tides, the harbor area and parking lot can flood!). For longer stays, it’s better to use the large paid parking lot directly behind the dike.
