Angelpark Teichhof

Angelpark Teichhof is one of the largest commercial fishing facilities in Germany and is managed by a certified fishery expert. Angelpark Teichhof includes not only the fishing waters but also a variety of biotopes and an orchard meadow. The entire area covers over 16 hectares or 160,000 square meters. Numerous springs ensure uniquely high water quality. Since the water areas are located on a geest ridge, the lake beds consist only of sand, gravel, and stones, providing an ideal habitat for our main fish, the salmon trout. We don’t have any trout that taste peaty or swampy at Teichhof. Thanks to the ideal lakebed conditions, pike-perch spawn here naturally. Eels migrate through a specially constructed fish ladder from the Eider River via the Wallener Au. The total fish population in the lakes includes salmon trout, whitefish, mirror carp, pike-perch, eel, roach and rudd, grass carp, and crayfish.
