Description

The Augustiner Greisslerei combines regional products with a historic atmosphere. The building fabric can be documented back to 1713; original 18th-century elements and a very thick wall suggest earlier fortifications.

The kitchen focuses on regional, seasonal ingredients – wild garlic in spring, asparagus in season, mushrooms in autumn and truffles when available. At lunch there are several varied menus; in the evening the offerings range from crispy fried chicken to a perfectly grilled steak.

For you: freshly baked rolls daily 🥐 and homemade regional products (e.g. Styrian pumpkin seed oil, Istrian olive oil) are available to take away. Wines from local winemakers are also offered. Head chef Carlo Samer leads the kitchen team.

  • Stylishly renovated historic vaults (since 1713)
  • Seasonal dishes according to the market
  • Several lunch menus for the family
  • Own regional products for sale
  • Wines from local winemakers
