Bauernmuseum

Description
## Description
The Grounds
The Bauernmuseum is housed in an old Flemish farmhouse that was once part of an ancient knight's estate. Through the cobblestone courtyard, you reach the exhibition rooms in the residential building built in 1730, as well as the stables and the barn.
The Exhibitions
In the stables, you will find an extensive tractor display featuring Lanz Bulldog tractors and tractors from the former East Germany's production. There is also a blacksmith's forge and collections of various farming tools from recent years to admire.
The exhibition “Grain Technology” in the barn shows how long the development journey was from the sickle and threshing flail to today's combine harvester.
The originally preserved front section of the residential building houses a farmer's apartment from the 1920s. Here, visitors get an insight into the daily life of a farming family from that period. The local heritage room in the rear part of the house features a rich collection of objects and documents that are eyewitnesses to the development of the town of Zahna.
