BIO Hof Rauscher

The BIO Hof Rauscher combines family farm life with certified organic production. Run in its sixth generation by Hans Rauscher, his son Josef (a trained organic farmer) and Grandma Maria – there you can discover farm life and products.

The around 300 laying hens of the Lohmann Braun breed lay brown eggs daily 🥚. The chickens have a huge run – as big as a soccer field, and they often wander into the yard; Grandma Maria then takes extra time to collect the eggs. Two roosters complete the flock. They are fed with farm-grown grain and a regional protein mix.

In the farm shop you'll find eggs, apple and grape juice, and seasonal potatoes and pumpkins; plus regional partner products like milk, pumpkin seed oil, honey, various dairy products and milled as well as unmilled organic grain.
