Description

## Brief description

Visiting the Blaulichtmuseum in Beuster is like taking a short trip back in time to the former GDR. Here you’ll find not only historic vehicles but also an original Konsum store.

## Description

On the grounds of the former LPG in Beuster, time seems to have stood still: you’ll discover a large collection of historic fire trucks, police cars, and rescue vehicles from the GDR, as well as vehicles from the former NVA and Soviet forces. There’s also a GDR-era Konsum shop stocked with many authentic East German products, a Minol gas station, a smithy, and a rustic clay bush oven.

About 40 members of the club have gathered these exhibits with great dedication and are happy to share their stories with you.

A special highlight is the annual Blaulichttage in summer – perfect for an exciting, action-packed day out with the whole family. You can go on helicopter flights or take rides on the historic field or narrow-gauge railway. There’s also a musical program, demonstrations on various topics, and food – naturally, from Soljanka to soft serve ice cream.
