Description

The Botanischer Garten Düsseldorf is located in the south of Düsseldorf at the Himmelgeister Rheinbogen. It belongs to the Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf and its Institute of Botany. It was founded in 1973, built between 1974 and 1979, and now houses around 6,000 species. The focus is primarily on plants from temperate climates.
