Description
The Brühlsche Terrasse, or Brühl-Terrace, is an architectural ensemble and a popular tourist attraction in Dresden. It is located in the city center in the old town and stretches about 500 meters along the Elbe River between the Augustus Bridge and the Carolabridge. The Brühlsche Terrasse is also known as the Balcony of Europe. This term was coined in the early 19th century and has since been frequently used in literature.
