With the scenic elevator, you quickly reach the castle courtyard, while modern multimedia installations bring local legends and stories to life, such as the tales of dwarf Alberich and the giant from the Lennetal valley.

The permanent exhibition features a recreated karst cave with a real cave bear skeleton, the life of knights, torture and witch trials, and the history of iron smelting using historic furnaces. Interactive media and a youth hostel exhibition area make history come alive.

At the knight play corner, children and adults can take knightly challenges and dress up – here you truly get into the medieval spirit.
