CDFriedrich inspiriert - Digitales Kunsterlebnis

The event CDFriedrich inspiriert – Digitales Kunsterlebnis invites you to a meditatively arranged exhibition that centers on Caspar David Friedrich, the most important painter of German Romanticism.

Large video projections fill the rooms and impressively show his working process – from the initial sketches to the finished paintings.

With multimedia and virtual gallery elements, the program offers a concise introduction to the landscape experiences of the Saxon Switzerland National Park 🏞 that inspired Friedrich. You can follow the artist's footsteps along hiking trails through the region's mystical places.

The exhibition is located in the former tourist office at the marketplace of Bad Schandau and was designed by a Dresden-based designer, with video content from a Berlin graphic agency.
