Description

At the Gleimhaus Museum, everything revolves around the Enlightenment – both as an era and a movement. The redesigned permanent exhibition focuses on encounters and experiences, with the Temple of Friendship as a special highlight.

There are exciting special tours, for example about Daniel Chodowiecki’s calendar engraving collection, where the curious details of artworks are vividly explained by Dr. Reimar Lacher.

For children aged 3 to 6, monthly storytelling and discovery events are offered 🐾, including readings of the book "The Gruffalo Grandma."

The program is diverse and also includes lectures and workshops, such as the event on satire and self-perception with Sandra Eckhardt.

Das Gleimhaus is fully accessible – perfect for families with mobility challenges.
