Dinosaurierpark Teufelsschlucht

Description
Dinosaurierpark Teufelsschlucht offers a fascinating blend of knowledge, adventure, and fun. Located right by the Teufelsschlucht gorge, the theme and adventure park showcases more than 180 life-size reconstructions of extinct species spanning over 600 million years. Special exhibitions on paleontological topics and insights into current scientific projects complement the experience. The park will celebrate its tenth anniversary in 2025 with a diverse program of events.
A nearly two-kilometer trail takes you through Earth's history, from the first land animals to modern humans. The models, including Allosaurus, Stegosaurus, and the impressive Seismosaurus, reflect the latest scientific findings. A particular highlight is the Eifelosaurus, a prehistoric reptile whose remains were discovered in the Eifel region.
At the PaleoLab and research camp, visitors can participate in citizen science projects and learn about ongoing excavations. Both children and adults have the chance to uncover fossils and open crystal geodes. The park also offers numerous play areas, picnic stations, and dining options. An audio guide available in multiple languages completes the experience.
