Description
Englischer Garten is located in the northeast of Munich on the west bank of the Isar River. With its 3.75 km² green space, it is one of the largest urban parks in the world. The name Englischer Garten comes from the English landscape gardens, which Friedrich Ludwig von Sckell used as a model when designing the grounds.
