Description

The Erinnerungsort BADEHAUS presents multimedia exhibitions with original objects that vividly tell recent history. These include moving stories of war children, Ukrainian forced laborers, Jewish displaced persons, and Catholic expellees.

This place serves as a space for remembrance, encounter, and education, recounting war and peace, destruction and rebuilding, as well as farewells and new beginnings. Visitors experience personal stories of people who lived through difficult times and fought for a better future for their children. This makes the exhibition a source of inspiration and courage.

Guided tours through exhibitions like 'WAR CHILDREN' offer families the chance to learn together thoughtfully. There are also special commemorative art installations – for example, an extended light installation honoring Maria Schmidt, an important eyewitness to the early history of Waldram.
