Ferienzentrum Schloss Dankern

Ferienzentrum Schloss Dankern has a history spanning more than 500 years. In 1970, the foundation for its further positive development was laid with the establishment of Ferienzentrum Schloss Dankern. Over the years, the Freiherr von Landsberg-Velen family built a diverse range of experiences and vacation opportunities, with over 150 play, leisure, and sports options and more than 700 holiday homes for families with children.

Ferienzentrum Schloss Dankern offers over 200 outdoor and indoor play, leisure, and sports activities across about 200 hectares, both on land and in the water. The huge selection includes an inline skating facility, an indoor playground, a cinema, the amusement park, an adventure mini golf course, an outdoor pool, the Topas fun pool with a counter-current system and water slides totaling 460 meters in length, a go-kart track, a high ropes course, pony rides without helmets or saddles, as well as the Play Castle Drago, a knights’ castle with more than 100 climbing, playing, and sliding features, and the medieval Castle Arkan with a roller coaster.

The most popular attraction in summer is, of course, the crystal-clear Dankernsee lake with its roughly three-kilometer-long sandy beach and water sports offerings ranging from pedal boats to the thrilling water ski facility.

The park includes nearly 800 holiday homes in various styles, sizes, and with different furnishings.
