Description
forum metall is an open sculpture ensemble in Linz's Donaupark: an open-air 'open-air museum' of large metal works. Families can discover famous names in modern sculpture – such as Herbert Bayer, Max Bill, Eduardo Paolozzi, Günther Uecker and Donald Judd. Many sculptures were created especially for Linz and produced in Austrian workshops, so conversations about craft, materials and the city's industrial history work well. The site was created in 1977 and provides a clear way to introduce children to local urban development. 🗿
