Freibad Abenden

Freibad Abenden is beautifully situated in the Rur valley, surrounded by wooded hills and right on the Rur river. It features a spacious sunbathing area perfect for relaxing and soaking up the sun, as well as a large swimming pool for carefree water fun. The gently sloping shallow area is especially suitable for families with young children. On the grounds, there is a sheltered playground with a slide and a nest swing. Sports activities are available on the adjacent beach volleyball court, at the basketball hoop, and the ping-pong table. A kiosk offers a selection of drinks, ice cream, and food.
