Freibad Heimbach

The heated Freibad Heimbach is beautifully located on the Rur River within the Eifel National Park and offers a wide range of recreational activities. With a constant water temperature of 24°C and spacious outdoor areas, it is an ideal place for relaxation and sports. The lawns invite you to unwind, while the 25 x 12.5-meter swimming pool with diving area offers sporty challenges. The kidney-shaped non-swimmer area covering 678 m² provides lively variety, and the small island within it is a popular meeting spot. For the youngest guests, there is a paddling pool with a cascade shower and fountain, guaranteeing safe water fun with depths from 15 to 45 cm. Sports equipment such as soccer, volleyball, and table tennis balls, as well as paddles and diving rings, are available free of charge. A swimwear shop offers bathing suits and water toys. A snack bar ensures your physical well-being with a wide selection of food and drinks. The entire site is wheelchair accessible.
