Located in beautiful natural surroundings, Freibad Rengsdorf has something for every swimming enthusiast.

While young visitors can have fun in the non-swimmer experience pool with water cannons, wide spouts, massage jets, floor bubblers, and the wide wave slide, sporty types can swim uninterrupted laps in the 50-meter lanes of the large pool.

There is also a diving area with one- and three-meter boards as well as an impressive five-meter platform for the really brave. The diving pool is set apart from the lanes to ensure that divers and swimmers don’t get in each other’s way. Meanwhile, the littlest visitors are well cared for at Freibad Rengsdorf: Since the beginning of the 2012 season, there has been a completely redesigned wading pool with many water-spraying attractions and radio-controlled retractable sunshades. You can also explore the playground located right next to the wading pool.

Once you’ve had your fill on the 10,000 square meter grounds, sports fans can show what they’ve got playing beach volleyball, soccer, or table tennis, or visit the kiosk with its large sun terrace! By the way: Freibad Rengsdorf remains open even when it rains. The hardcore swimmers can enjoy their sport in constantly 73.4-degree Fahrenheit water while others get cozy at home with a cup of tea.

At Freibad Rengsdorf, you can swim or bathe every day from the end of April until the end of September, regardless of the weather, in 73.4-degree-Fahrenheit mineralized spring water from the nearby 675-meter-deep Auquelle well in Luisental.

According to the Fresenius Institute, the water from this deep well is of such high quality that it is perfectly suitable for producing baby food. This excellent water, much warmer than usual spring water, is supplied to Freibad Rengsdorf via insulated pipes in the shortest possible distance, providing the pool with the best uncontaminated spring water throughout the swimming season.
