Vulkanbad Mendig

Vulkanbad Mendig, idyllically located on the northern edge of the town of Mendig, offers a natural setting with numerous shady trees that invite you to relax. After extensive renovations in spring 2025, the pool now features a new liner and modernized water treatment system to meet the highest technical and energy standards. Originally built in the 1930s, the pool got its name through a community contest.

Vulkanbad has a 15 x 25 meter swimming pool, a 20 x 11 meter non-swimmer pool, and two children’s pools connected by a water slide. The facilities also include a wide water slide measuring 11.50 meters, 1- and 3-meter diving boards, and four starting blocks. Additional features include an accessible wading pool, a large green area, a mother and child section, a first aid room, a kiosk, a covered cafeteria, a playground, and beach chairs. Vulkanbad Mendig offers a variety of options for a fun and diverse swimming experience.
