Freibad "Wolfstal"

A gem of our region, the Freibad "Wolfstal"

In May 1997, the people of Roßwein and their guests were able to enjoy a beautiful summer pool after the expansion of a new access route via Seifersdorf and the comprehensive modernization of the entire facility. Since then, our outdoor pool has attracted thousands of visitors from the entire region, mainly due to its idyllic, scenic location. While the swimming pool (depth 1.80 m) is primarily used for sports activities, bathers will find a wide slide (4 m wide, 16 m long) and a large water slide (48 m long) in the adventure area. This pool is also equipped with a water mushroom, 3 water cannons, and 3 floor bubblers. The water depth varies from 0.80 m to 1.30 m. The toddler area is safely separated from the other pools and is especially popular with young families. Here, little water rats can have fun under a water mushroom, on 2 small slides, and with a spray hedgehog. A solar system ensures pleasant water temperatures.

The generously designed lawns are spread throughout the entire pool area and offer both full sun and shady, quiet spots. Another advantage of the pool is its accessibility for people with disabilities. Both changing cabins and toilets can be used by wheelchair users. To make it easier to enter the water, there is a raised staircase into the adventure pool and a mobile lift for the swimming pool. The restaurant operators satisfy the culinary wishes of our guests with their wide range of offerings. Play equipment (balls and similar) and lounge chairs can be rented. Evening and night events are very popular throughout the season and can be found on the event calendar of the city of Roßwein.
