Freizeitbad espada offers water fun, play opportunities, and relaxation for the whole family all year round.

The indoor pool, with separate areas for swimmers and non-swimmers (25-meter lanes), diving board, and tower, also allows for some sporty activities. Relaxation, on the other hand, is offered by the fitness-relax pool (33°C) with a counter-current system, massage jets, and a massage waterfall shower.

The little swimmers can let off steam in the parent-child area with a water spray snake, shower crocodile, Rosifanten slide, and much more. Great attractions also include the 20-meter-long children's slide and the 80-meter-long black-hole slide with light and sound effects.

The textile sauna area with a bio-sauna (60°C), steam bath (30 – 45°C), and infrared sauna offers a relaxed escape from everyday life, as does the VelusJet® water massage lounger.

The new espanatura natural outdoor pool offers a refreshing way to cool off during the summer months in the outdoor area of Freizeitbad espada. The 1,000 sqm pool features three 50-meter lanes and flexible play platforms. The bottom of the adjacent lagoon is covered with sand and ends in a small sandy beach that invites little swimmers to relax or play. A seesaw pump at the pool edge also allows activation of a spray nozzle on one of the rocks in the lagoon.

On the pirate playground with balancing beams and play equipment, children become explorers, and on the large wide-wave slide, racing down is allowed.

Right next to the natural outdoor pool is the espadino WasserSpaßGarten. Here, 20 different water play attractions await the little water nymphs and mermen. The lawns around the outdoor pool also invite you to relax and sunbathe, and in the lounge, comfortable deck chairs and seating furniture are available for a relaxed break in the shade. Modern sanitary facilities with changing options are also included.

A unique feature of espanatura in the entire region is its biological water treatment. The water is cleaned in a cycle through biological-physical ground filters, so no chemicals like chlorine are needed. This ecological technology has the great advantage of being environmentally friendly and resource-saving.

Both the indoor pool and espanatura are accessible without barriers. For visitors with limited mobility, a special wheelchair and walkers are additionally available.
