Description

Galopprennbahn Dresden-Seidnitz is a listed horse racing track located in the Seidnitz district of Dresden. Opened on Ascension Day in 1891, it was the second racetrack of its kind in the Kingdom of Saxony, following the Leipzig Galopprennbahn Scheibenholz. Today, the approximately 43-hectare park-like area, which is also the city's largest sports facility, is operated by the Dresdner Rennverein 1890 e. V., with Holger Scholze serving as president.
