Description
Gerlhamer Moor - Naturschutzgebiet: a nature experience for families — here you can discover rare carnivorous plants such as sundews in peat cushions and the bladderwort in moor pools. 🌿
Lively wildlife and hands-on stories await: frogs, toads, newts, dragonflies, moor butterflies and grass snakes are on the hunt; a Bronze Age pile-dwelling site tells a piece of history.
On site there is the Moorschmiede with occasional forge and anvil demonstrations; the area also serves as an environmental learning site for school projects.
