Description

Grasslhöhle is Austria's oldest show cave, offering families a unique underground adventure with stunning stalactite formations that are up to 100,000 years old. 🔦

You can explore about 280 meters of naturally formed passages that are electrically lit. This makes the visit exciting and easily accessible for the whole family.

The discovery of the cave is linked to the legend of a shepherd boy who is said to have found it while searching for a lost animal – giving the trip an exciting atmosphere full of mystery.

Since around 1924, families have been able to experience the cave safely and educationally through guided tours. Grasslhöhle is set in the picturesque Weizer Bergland, home to about 200 known caves in the area, making this outing especially close to nature and interesting.

Right next to Grasslhöhle is the stalactite cave Katerloch. This gives you the chance to explore several fascinating caves in one day.
