Description

Habichtsweiden is a large nature reserve covering about 150 hectares featuring a variety of habitats such as meadows, forests, hedges, wetlands, and water areas. 🌿 Here you can discover and experience many different aspects of nature.

Families can watch the grazing animals throughout the year and learn more about the Taurus cattle, water buffalo, and wild Exmoor ponies, which actively help maintain the landscape. Their grazing creates new habitats that also benefit rare bird species.

Marked hiking trails run throughout the pasture and invite you to explore nature together outdoors.

The farm shop offers high-quality meat and sausages from the Taurus cattle, including specialties like liver sausage, wild boar ham, and salami, as well as fresh pumpkins and zucchini from their own fields. Most of the meat is sourced through "pasture shooting" directly on the pasture in a low-stress way, which benefits the animals.
