Hammerschmiede Gnuse is a historic smithy powered by water since 1827. Here you can explore an impressive hammer workshop, a knife forge, and a grinding mill, diving into traditional blacksmithing techniques.
Since 1998, Hammerschmiede has served as a living museum that takes you on an exciting journey through the history of blacksmithing.
On special event days, the facility is put into operation. Then you experience firsthand how the smithy worked in the old days – a fascinating show for the whole family. 🔨
