House of Music – the Klangmuseum is an interactive musical experience for the whole family. On five floors, numerous stations and oversized instruments invite visitors to discover and try out.
\nA special highlight is the Virto Stage on the 4th floor: visitors become conductors, movements influence the music and stage design. On the 5th floor, events are regularly hosted and there is a panorama roof with a wonderful view over Vienna.
\nFor children there is a rich family program with guided tours, children’s concerts and musicals – often on weekends or during school holidays. Additionally, the museum allows you to conduct the Wiener Philharmoniker as virtual conductors and presents exhibitions on composers such as Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven and more.
\nAge groups: 0–2 years, 2–6 years, 6–10 years, 10–12 years and from 12 years.
\nSonotopia/Sound Lab: explore sound phenomena and create “magical sound beings” in the Sonotopia Lab; experimentation is allowed (e.g., giant drum).
