The museum features a fully operational experimental paper machine and a workshop for handmade paper, clearly demonstrating various production processes.
A special highlight is the collection of handmade papers with watermarks, comprising over 1000 sheets dating back to the 1500s.
Additionally, the exhibition on GDR history is constantly growing – with a variety of objects donated by visitors and locals, offering a diverse glimpse into the past.
Since 2007, at the historic site of a water power plant from 1692, there has been a new hydroelectric installation that brings technology and industrial history to life.
