Description

The Heimatmuseum Buchloe offers fascinating insights into local history with numerous exhibits – including a functioning old typesetting machine and original items related to Buchloe's railway history 🚂.

Particularly interesting are the themed rooms such as the Neher Cabinet honoring Nobel Prize winner Professor Dr. Erwin Neher, as well as paintings by Eduard Bechteler 🖼️.

Other highlights include a collection of native and exotic butterflies, traditional costumes, uniforms, flags, and a Sudeten German living room. Regularly changing special exhibitions provide variety.

A special feature is a six-part audio guide developed by students of Buchloe High School, which brings the museum’s precious treasures to life.
