Description
Hermann-Löns-Park in Hannover is an 86-hectare park located in the southeastern part of the city district of Kleefeld, connecting the Eilenriede and Tiergarten forest areas. The park area represents an idealized Lower Saxony floodplain landscape due to its native plants, buildings, and terrain features. Since its creation as a public park in the 1930s, the park has largely retained its original design. The name comes from the heath poet Hermann Löns, who had strong ties to Hannover.
