Stadtpark Garbsen

Stadtpark Garbsen is a local recreation area located in the center of the city of Garbsen. Since the 1980s, natural-style landscape features such as bodies of water, forest and open spaces, as well as quiet zones linked with a classic-style park design, have been part of a larger, regionally connected green system. The approximately 25-hectare Stadtpark, with its 5.5 hectares of water surfaces, lies directly on the Green Ring bike path designed for cycling tours on the Marienwerder–Garbsen–Seelze route in the Hannover region. The main entrance at Kastendamm can also be reached by public transport, with several bus lines stopping there.
