IG Synagoge

The IG Synagoge invites you to experience Jewish life up close. The exhibition presents exciting films and photos that offer insights into the everyday life of Jewish families.

A special highlight is the three-dimensional model reconstruction of the synagogue, with impressive interior and exterior views – so you can see what the building might have originally looked like.

For the Hanukkah celebration, a Chanukkia (nine-branched candelabrum) will be lit publicly for the first time at the Treffpunkt Trefurt. There will be traditional, child-friendly activities such as dreidel games and latkes 🕎.

Children and families can also watch how a traditional menorah is transformed into a Chanukkia by a local craftsman – a special celebration full of atmosphere.

The IG Synagoge is also a vibrant place for community exchange, sharing knowledge, experiences, and hopes around Jewish life.
