Description

The Jean Paul Stube is Germany's smallest museum and has been preserved almost unchanged. Here, the poet Jean Paul spent nearly every day during the last 20 years of his life.

The house, known as Rollwenzelei, formerly served as a customs house for Colmberg and is closely linked to Jean Paul's history.

Since 1876, the Rollwenzelei with the poet's room has been family-owned, opening the building to visitors and ensuring its preservation.
