The museum shows how around 1900, ancestors earned their living by skill and hard work in home-based chain forging. The historic tradition of family and neighborhood blacksmith workshops is kept alive here.

Since 1984, impressive forging demonstrations have brought back the sounds and atmosphere that had long been silent.
