Klettersteig Kupfergeist

The Klettersteig Kupfergeist is a demanding via ferrata (difficulty D–E) and offers you a real challenge 🧗♀️.

The route is 240 meters long with 140 metres of vertical gain – an adrenaline-fueled ascent that ends on an exit ledge and provides a dramatic view over Hüttschlag and the head of the valley 🏔️ The approach from Hüttschlag takes about 25 minutes, so the start is reachable for active families with suitable children. The mining legend of 'Kupfergeist' accompanies the route and adds a storytelling touch. A via ferrata kit and helmet are mandatory – the route is not suitable for the inexperienced without equipment.
