Kombibad Fechingen

The swimming pool offers a wide variety of sports, fitness, and leisure activities. A mobile entry staircase allows people with physical disabilities easy access to the pool. During the summer months, the outdoor pool is the meeting place for all sun worshippers and water enthusiasts.

To preserve the pool, extensive renovation work costing €2.5 million was carried out in recent years, ensuring this popular recreational facility is energy-efficient and well-prepared for the future.

HISTORY

The first plans to build a swimming pool were already made in 1930. The original outdoor pool was opened on June 3, 1939. The pool operations were suspended during World War II and only resumed in 1949.

In the 1970s, the combined outdoor and indoor pool was constructed and opened its doors to the public on May 13, 1972.
