Kornbrennerei-Museum Saerbeck

The Kornbrennerei-Museum Saerbeck offers you an exciting look into traditional grain distilling and is the only museum of its kind in the Steinfurt district. Under the motto "From Grain to Grain", the museum combines historic preservation with modern presentation for an entertaining and lasting experience.

During the 1–2 hour tours, you explore the historic distillery building, learn interesting facts about its history, visit the original distillery setup from 1812, and can enjoy tasting the spirits afterward. There is a special educational program designed for school classes and groups with children that will especially engage you.

Over 10,000 visitors have experienced the museum since it opened in 1998. For those who want to take the experience home, various spirits as well as books and brochures are available for purchase.
